Pediatric patients of all ages are welcome at our office. As a matter of fact, we LOVE seeing kids! The best way to introduce children to the dentist is to start early, when their visits can be easy and fun, and they receive consistently positive reinforcement for their appointments. It also allows us to introduce good nutritional and oral hygiene habits at a young age, when they can be the most effective at preventing future problems. Other concerns such as finger or thumb sucking, the development of the primary and permanent teeth, the positioning of the teeth, and bite problems can also be addressed. In later childhood and adolescence, consistent preventative care as well as reinforcing good nutritional and oral hygiene habits are also be invaluable for maintaining excellent dental health for life. Orthodontic concerns and evaluating the wisdom teeth can also be addressed at this time.
